Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They allow websites to remember your preferences and maintain sessions.
NullKeep uses cookies only for essential functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. We believe in minimal data collection โ consistent with our zero-knowledge architecture.
The NullKeep browser extension does not use cookies. It stores data locally using:
chrome.storage.local โ for encrypted vault data and settingschrome.storage.session โ for temporary session keys (cleared when browser closes)
This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly enable cloud backup.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
Note: Blocking the nk_session cookie will prevent you from staying
logged in to your NullKeep Cloud account.
If we ever add new cookies (which is unlikely given our privacy-first approach), we will update this page and notify registered users.
For questions about our cookie usage, contact us at privacy@nullkeep.com.
